Rate limiting is a feature of FileFlex Enterprise that can be enabled by the administer to manage company bandwidth use, that caps or limits the total user transfer capacity, upstream or downstream, of data through the FileFlex server.
Administrators can limit the monthly bandwidth that a user can consume. When the limit is reached, a daily limit is then imposed so that users can keep working effectively to remotely access, collaborate and share regular business documents such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint, but modify their behavior to avoid excess or unnecessary use such as video sharing. Users are notified at login if they are close to their limit. The monthly bandwidth allowances are reset every month. If a user has consumed their monthly allowance and been moved to daily limits, then the daily bandwidth allowance is reset every day until the monthly bandwidth allowance is reset the next month.

管理者は、ユーザーが消費できる月間帯域幅を制限できます。 制限に達すると、日次制限が課されてもユーザーは効果的に作業を続けて、Word、Excel、PowerPoint などの通常のビジネスドキュメントにリモートでアクセス、共同作業、共有できますが、動画共有などの過剰または不要な使用を避けるために動作に制限がかかります。 ユーザーは、制限に近づくとログイン時に通知されます。 毎月の帯域幅の割り当ては毎月リセットされます。 ユーザーが 1 か月の許容量を消費して日次制限がかかるようになった場合、1 か月の帯域幅許容量が翌月にリセットされるまで、日次帯域幅許容量は毎日リセットされます。
